> --PA Turns out it's quite the opposite! The old laptop had a built-in B
adaptor, but I was using a plug-in G card. When I pulled out the G
card and enabled the B adaptor, everything was fine. I'm not entirely
sure why that particular card (a 3com one - can't remember the model
at the moment) would completely destroy the wireless networking
capability of the new Vista laptop.
