Can't access external drive with standard user account

Hello- I installed an external drive for my son so he can store his music.
He is set up as a "standard User" undr my parental controls.
He wants to modify the folders and edit things on the external drive but can
not do so with out getting administrator permission every time.

How can I fix this so he can access his music on the external "K" drive and
not have to give "sdministrator permissions every time.
thanks for your help

Re: Can't access external drive with standard user account

Hi brain82,

make sure you add your sons useraccount to the Drives security tab. and allow the permissions you want to allow. if you want your son to be the owner of the External Drive you could chage to owner of the drive. with yours sons name.

hope this helps

Cheers !
