| | Hide Network Icon in System Tray In Windows Vista, is there a way to hide the Network icon from the System Tray? This functionality was present in Windows XP (via properties).... it is no longer there in Windows Vista... Reason I need it... I am ALWAYS connected to my college LAN and to the internet via the same proxy server... my network status NEVER changes... so I don't need that icon... whats worse... it doesn't even auto hide if I do nothing to it for a long time. Please tell me if I am missing something. -- Sushovan, a crazy junior |
