| | how to turn off vista network identification I've been hunting around and I can't seem to find the answer, if there is one. Quite soon after getting my new Vista laptop I turned off UAC. Now I want to turn off network identification. On XP, I just plug in and if there's a DHCP server that doesn't need authorisation I can get an IP. Now I find myself disabling and enabling my internal LAN so I can connect. I have to move around different LANs all the time so it becomes a bit of a drag. How do I stop Vista trying to identify the network and just have it connect without arguing? -- MCSE 2003 |
