| | Constantly disappearing global icon Hi! ![]() I have been a Windows Vista user for about 7 months and I have encountered a problem when I start up my computer. When I log into my account, everything runs normally except for the network center. At first, a red "X" would appear which is normal, but then the global icon does not appear. I have been experiencing this for a few days now and I have no idea what to do. I have searched the Knowledge base for answers but one solution I found was to download Windows Vista Service Pack 1. I have downloaded the Service Pack when it first was released via Windows Update but sadly I experience this problem. This problem has never happened to me before until just a few days ago. When I pace my cursor over the network center icon, it says, " Currently connected to: Network Access: Local Only". When I open my browser and close it, the global icon then appears as it should but sometimes it justs disappears again. I have tried to diagnose the problem too but there seems to nothing wrong with my connection except sometimes the internet might run a bit slowly than usual. What should I do to resolve this problem? -- ~Daisy ^_^ |
