I have small workgroup network and i have 5 win xp clients and one win vista.
from win vista i can not open one of my xp clients and when i click on the
computer name i get the username and password dialog and after entering the
correct username and pssword i get again the username and password dialog.
but i can connect from other xp clients to that client and also i can open
from vista other xp clients.

The simple solution is creating the same username with the same password on
all computers. This search result may help.
