| | Vista and Windows Server 2000 problem. I have network with 4 servers – 3 Windows Server 2003 and one Windows server 2000 (which is only DC). There are 40 workstations with Windows XP and 10 Vista machines. I have problem with connectivity form Vista machines (all are having the same problem) to Windows Server 2000 DC. When I try to ping form any vista PC - server DC it is working for a while and after around 5 minutes stops (no reply message). For pinging I’m using IP address not name. I have no problem with any other server (I can ping and get access from vista). On other hand all XP machines can get access to this DC without any problem. Any advice what can I do with this problem? I upgraded network drivers, disabled IPv6 on Vista machines. It didn’t help. |
