Recording TV on Network Attached Storage

Hello,

Can someone explain me how to get MCE to store TV recording on a network
(NAS) Drive ? Windows Media Centre only offers C: or D: as storage locations
on my machine.

Thanks for your help.

Steven.

Re: Recording TV on Network Attached Storage

You can map your NAS to a network drive. Right click on the My Computer icon
and choose Map Network Drive, then find you NAS click ok. This will map your
network drive.

Re: Recording TV on Network Attached Storage

Thanks but that's already done and Windows Mediacenter only offers local
drives as storage locations.

Am I missing something ?

To the best of my knowledge, that isn't possible. MCE will only use a
local drive. Have you posted your question in a Media Center news
group?
