Can't connect to domain when Firewall enabled

Hi Everyone,

I hope this is an easy question to answer. I have setup a Windows 2003 server and a domain to do some local testing and development. I have a Vista Ultimate client that I have joined to the domain and everything is working smashingly.... that is until I enable the firewall on the Windows 2003 server.

I have checked the network adapter configuration(Advanced Tab of the Windows Firewall config window, and according to the nic settings the following ports are open:
DHCP - 67 UDP
DHCP - 68 UDP
DNS - 53 - UDP

and I have manually added an exception for:
DNS - 53 - TCP

The issue that I run into is that while the firewall is off, I instantly connect to the domain and everything works as expected. When the firewall goes up, I connect to DHCP and get an IP as well as internet connection through the gateway, but my group policy, mapped drives and everything else domain related goes away.

Am I missing a port?

Thanks for your time and effort,
Everett
