| | Windows Vista forgets wireless devices and computers I have a Toshiba Laptop running Vista and a Dell with Xp on a wireless network . A Brother MFC 6490CW is also connected over wlan. Everything works great when I start Vista, but after 10-15 min, Vista forgets both the XP machine and the wireless printer. If you log out and back in, or reboot everything is there again...for 10-15 minutes. What did I do wrong??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- andi5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ andi5's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/84735.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...rk/1146779.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Windows Vista forgets wireless devices and computers Hi Make sure that the Wireless cards are set to get out of Sleep on Network traffic (or disable their Power Saving state). Also give the network Printer a static IP so it is always in the same Network address.
