| Vista Ultimate x64 | Shared HP Laserjet 1022 under Vista Home premium 64 bit I am trying to get my HP LaserJet 1022 working as a shared printer under Vista 64 bit - so far all the suggestions I found did not work. I tried the usual things (reinstalling the printer drivers, bang my head against the wall, etc.) and also the suggestions in the following thread Adding network printer in Vista. But so far nothing seems to work. Whenever I try to print something from either one of my laptops (one running XP the other vista 32 bit) the job appears to have been printed on the laptop but not on the machine that is actually connected to the printer. Interestingly once I reboot the machine connected to the printer the print job gets printed. A HP Photosmart C3180 connected to the same machine works just fine as a shared printer - no need to reboot there. Right now I am really out of ideas  - any suggestions what else to try?Thanks in advance, ZZT |
