| | Vista Wireless - automatically connecting at boot is slow I have Vista (technet) installed on my Dell 1705 laptop. I have my wireless nic configured to automatically connect to my linksys WAP when in range (using WEP). I noticed that it takes close to 3-4 minutes for the wireless link to become active after the laptop is showing the ctrl-alt-del screen. Any clues as to why this is taking so long? I could forsee problems if I wanted to use any sort of group policy or offline folder syncing. |
