| | No "Logon using dial-up connection" on Vista login screen In windows 2000, Windows XP there was an option to logon using a dial up connection. I used this feature to logon to my business network over a vpn connection and found many advantages to doing it this way. Sadly I cannot find this feature in Vista (business or ultimate) - does anyone know how to achieve the same results? Paul |

| | RE: No "Logon using dial-up connection" on Vista login screen You need to have 'domain joined' machine and VPN connection (setup) for all user. If you have these two then you will see a PLAP button at the right bottom of your login screen which provides the same functionality. | | RE: No "Logon using dial-up connection" on Vista login screen I too had the same problem but this post helped me find the answer. After prossing CTRL ALT DEL to opent he login screen, press "Switch User". Ath that point another icon (blue computer) will appear at the bottom R of the screen. Click that and your dialup or VPN connections will appear. Choose the one you want to use and logon normally. Cheers, RED "BG" wrote: > Hi, > I have the same problem agent86 has.
