Vista - Q re sharing documents folder when dual booting XP/Vista

Hi

I'm currently running XP Pro.

I've moved the location of "My Documents" to its own partition for easier
backup etc. I have set this folder to keep private and I logon to XP with a
password.

I plan to install Vista and dual boot to XP for any applications that don't
like Vista.

I'd like to share the "My Documents" partition so I can access my files from
either OS but as I currently have this password protected and made private I
foresee this might be a problem.

Would I need to remove the "make Private" option and enable sharing under XP
so that my Vista apps can access it?

Or is there another way?

No not needed you can add your self as a trusted user with full right to the
private folder.

Thanks Koze.

I didnt realise it would be that simple.

I had presumed that marking the folder as private would encrypt the data
making it inaccessible from outside of XP.
