MEDIA SHARING IN NETWORK AND SHARING WONT SHOW A GREEN LIGHT

I HAVE A HP MEDIA CENTER COMPUTER THAT I UPGRADED TO VISTA, AND I AM TRING TO
ENABLE MEDIA SHARING FROM WITHIN THE NETWORK AND SHARING FOLDER, BUT I CAN
NOT GET A GREEN LIGHT ON THE MEDIA SHARING BUTTON. I HAVE CHANGED THE NETWORK
TO PRIVATE AND I HAVE GONE INTO WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND ENABLED MEDIA
SHARING THERE, BUT IN THE NETWORK AND SHARING FOLDED MEDIA SHARING ALWAYS
SHOWS "OFF" AND NO MATTER WHAT I TRY, I CAN NOT GET IT TO TURN ON. ANYONE
HAVE ANY IDEAS ON THIS?
