Is It Completely Impossible To Network Vista with 2K?

I've never experienced such difficulty in setting up a network. Is this
impossible? All I have is a Vista machine and a 2K machine. I can't get
them to network for the life of me. I have ICS setup OK through the Vista
machine but it can't see the 2K machine. Workgroup is the same on each
machine. Each machine setup as home network, but this always seems to
default to business...hmmm. Anyway, is there any possibility of ever
networking the two?

TIA

Koka

SMB

Holy Balls! AVG Firewall had SMB turned off for MS file and printer sharing
on the 2K machine. Jeepers! Note: AVG Firewall is incompatible with
Vista...patch imminent.
