Can't acces puiblic folder from WinXP

I loaded Vista on a test machine with dual boot to XP. My second machine
is strictly XP . The XP machine sees the Public folder but can't read or
write to these folders.

On the website, it says to type in "net local group users guest /add
It should be "net localgroup users guest /add
