Vista Tutorial - Remote desktop from Vista to XP PRO - cursor disappears

I am using a remote desktop client on Vista Home Premium to connect to a
development box running XP Pro and have noticed that my cursor disappears
when it is moved into the Visual Studio 2005 source file editior window,
other windows seem to work fine. The cursor does pop back up if I happen to
land on a section of code that has a tooltip. The cursor disappears again
when the tooltip is lost. I can use a remote desktop client on XP Home to do
this without any problems.

I tried playing with the remote desktop color, resolution, and bandwidth
options but nothing seems to resolve the problem. Any ideas? Thanks in
