| | Laptop Sony with windows Vista just purchase a new laptop sony with windows vista, but it will not detect wireless signal from a netgear router. Other PC's laptop & desktop with XP operating system are functioning very well. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks |

Some laptops have a small switch that turns the wireless off/on. Other laptops use FN + [some key]. Refer to your laptop manual and make sure the wireless is actually on.
