| | D-Link DSM 320 The D-Link DSM 320 Media Extender has the MS Plays for Sure logo - Great, after weeks of trying to sort out a Vista Network (which still isn't right) I tried to connect to my DSM 320 which performed brilliantly under XP. Looking at my Router it has my DSM 320 listed at 192.168.2.5. Sit at my laptop and desktop (Home Premium and Ultimate respectively) and ping 192.168.2.5 get a turnround of 1ms per ping. Try to find it on the Network, no chance, from either computer. When I bought the D-link and ran it under XP I could not believe how easy it was to find it and configure it. MS have got their own back on me, big time with all the network configuartion problems. I have given up trying to add my daughters XP machine to the Network. It connects to the Internet fine through the router but cannot get access to our printers - saves me some ink costs! |
