| Guest | Print spooler I have an HP LaserJet 1012 connected to a D-Link DI-704UP. I have 4 XP machines (two are connected through a Linksys wireless router) all printing on this printer. I connected a new Vista machine that will not print due to a message that says that the print spooler is not running. I have gone into services.msc and can see that the print spooler is running, yet no printing to the network printer. I have worked around this by going through one XP machine to the shared printer, which is the same network printer!? (in and out the same wire). This defeats the purpose of the network printer! I have surfed around and found that a Hotfix is in the works to correct this issue, any idea when this might be available? Takes two to print one... Fred |
