    windows Vista and NAS drive

I have a new sumvision NAS drive plugged into my router using an ethernet
cable. I am able to get my Vista laptop to see the NAS drive, I am able to
assign drive letters (Mapping) and can save files to it. However, I cannot
get the router (which is wireless) to send the file back to the laptop so I
can open it. I'm using a Netgear wireless router 834gv2.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Thanks

    David

I have an HP media vault and I have no problems here. Same config, device to
router. However I do see it uses a peculiar formatting options. Also, have a
linksys router. Could it be your router config?
