Wireless connection in Vista

Vista:- After waken up from the sleep mode, the compurter is not connecting
at 802.11g speed, however, it able to connect at 802.11b speed. Have to
connect manually at 802.11g speed after restarting the computer.
The wireless card compatible of both 802.11b/g.
The wireless router also compatible with the same.
