Can 2 xp computers and 2 vista computers exist in a family network

Hi. We have had 4 computers on a family network forever. 2 are connected to
the router via cable - 1 xp and 1 vista. 2 are connected to the network
wirelessly, 1 xp and 1 vista. The 2 computers running vista can see each
other and the relevant printers. The 2 computers running xp cannot connect
to the network at all and cannot connect to the networked printers either -
PLEASE HELP!

Are personal firewalls, and the NetBT setting, consistent on all computers?

Look at logs from "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from each computer, and
diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow
instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Sure, they should be able to see each other. Can you ping each by IP?
