" first, reboot your computer. does the problem clear or does it reoccur? if this persists, did you recently install any programs or updates? Had started to do things like clear history and cookies; simply was unable to connect. At that point my girl friend's computer was not connecting either. We finally figured out that Charter Communications was having issues at their end rather than my computer individually. Thanks for your helpful response.
