Re: Problem with Physical Address (MAC Address)

You know the MAC address changed because----? The MAC address is assigned
by the card manufacturer.

Do you really mean the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer
changed? If so that is normal for most people if your dialing into your ISP,
if your connected directly to a cable/DSL modem or your connected to a
router that has a built-in DHCP server function.

Here are explanations...

Re: Problem with Physical Address (MAC Address)

Your MAC address is on your network adaptor.
Vista doesn't change it.
If you changed your network card, then it's changed.
You probably mean IP address.

Didn't you read Sooner Al's post? That can change, if you use DHCP and not
static (permanent).

Re: Problem with Physical Address (MAC Address)

So, you're changing the MAC address with a program, and you don't know why
it's changing?

Why are you using this program????

Re: Problem with Physical Address (MAC Address)

Because when I Turn On my PC, my mac address changed then with a program I return my mac address to the correct mac address.
