hello,



i bought a new pc with windows vista in austria and wireless worked
perfectly....now i am in spain and suddenly wireless doesn't work any
more...my laptop can find some different wireless connections with are around
but can't connect with any...the error is undefined...it can't repair
it...nothing works
firewall is off, DNA & IP adress are applied automatically; and in the
internet options i don't choose a connection. (sorry, but i don't know the
proper names in english - i hope you know what i mean)
today i bought an wireless adapter (i thought that it maybe will work) but
it doesnt work either:
the problem is that i don't have access to any modem. i just have the
wireless connection!

i hope i made myself clear and somebody could help me.

command prompt (right click and select run as administrator and
acknowledge the prompt)

ipconfig /all [enter]

click the icon on the menubar on the left and then edit, select all
(it will turn white)

click the icon in the menubar again then edit, copy

this copies to the clipboard.
paste into a reply

In addition to the registry fix, in advanced properties for the wireless
NIC, disable the TCP/IPv6 service.
