| | windows blocked access to content my friend sent me some stuff over Windows Live Messenger, and it was a .exe file. every single time, to my frustration, windows blocked it without giving me a choice to access it or not. went to windows mail (as instructed by windows help) and unchecked "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" under security options. tried downloading the file again, and again Windows blocked it without giving me any options. can you please help me? I just want to access my files. |

| | Re: windows blocked access to content Hello, you could see if the following setting in Live Messenger is checked: Tools -> Options -> File Transfer -> "Automatically reject file transfers...". If yes, uncheck it and try again. Greetings, P.
