| | DFS Mapped Drive issue. Vista will not run our login script but not map the drives. On our two vista machines we are receiving The Network name cannot be found. We recently turned off WINS but I would assume 2000/XP/Vista are all just as happy without WINS. I've seen one other post about this but the fixes supplied there didn't work. any suggestions? Oh, our XP pro machines map these drives using the same scripts just fine. |

| | Re: DFS Mapped Drive issue. Hopefully smoeone can provide a solution for this, as I am experiencing the same problem as mentioned above. Corporate domain and I constantly have to reboot to run the logonbat which maps the drive. I did realize it only ever seems to lose the connection to the DFS shares.
