| | Remote Assistance - Help Please I use Remote Assistance to help others in our corporation with their machines. We now have some Vista users in the field. I can connect with Remote Assistance, but I can not apply my administrator credentials to continue with any setup or installation on their machine. Is there a setting that can be changed so that I (or any administer) can remotely enter the administraor password to continue. The machine user does not have any admin rights. We can remote in and do most installs with out a problem, however, there are some user specific setup that have to be done via the users profile. Thanks for any help you can give. |

| | Re: Remote Assistance - Help Please I tried that but when it comes up to enter administrator username and password then I get the black screen and it would only allow the user the enter a username and password which they do not have. We even tried to have them actually put the cursor in the username and password prompts for me to type in the info, but the screen is black and I have no control with the keyboard at this point either. This is really going to create some support issues for us if we cannot find a work around for this.
