| | Vista "Not Connected" - but I AM! EH? Took my Vista HP laptop from home where I have wifi and 1Gb/s lan to a cafe; connected fine to the wifi network there. (I do this every day and the problem described below has never happened before) Came home, plugged in LAN. I have both local and internet connection - But Vista says I don't have either. "Diagnose" from Network & Sharing Centre ignores the LAN completely and from Network Connections it says everything is just fine. IPCONFIG shows exactly the usual settings. And the wireless didn't automatically connect to my home wifi either. What on earth is going on? |
