| | Re: D-Link Router Connection You say it works through a Linksys Switch, but not when directly connected. You aren't using a crossover cable when you connect to the switch are you? If so, you can't use the same cable to connect directly to the router. Your symptoms are consistent with using the wrong type of cable (crossover instead of direct, or vice versa). | | Re: D-Link Router Connection I asked him to try a different cable early in my first reply and he responded that it didn't help. That was one of my thoughts as well (x'over).
