laptop at home and domain at my work

I'm using my laptop at work where it is a member of a domain. (no problem)

If i start up my laptop at home my latop is very slow, it takes several
minuts before the loginscreen appears. It seems that the laptop is searching
for the domain. Any idea how to solve this problem?
