| | Double network indication on taskbar Hi All The icon on the taskbar that reads "currently connected to" actually shows two networks "**(the name of my network)" and "unidentified network (**)". This has been the case using two different modem/routers ie Netgear DG834G and Belkin N1. Both networks come up in the Network and Sharing Centre display, yet push the "disconnect" link and both networks disappear from the display. Only one network (**) shows in the "Connect to a Network" box. The wireless network is a mixture of Vista (1 computer) and three computers using XP SP2. The network operates normally, despite this rogue network popping up. Anybody had this happen to them? Cheers Diggings Newcastle With the world''s best beaches and lakes and mountains - and people! |
