funny it says Adobe Flash Player 9 is compatiple, yet it doesn't work on x64.....

Hi Branduir, and welcome to Vista Forums.

It just means for the default 32bit IE7 browser in the 64 bit Vista instead of the 64 bit IE7 version.

You might want to read this - Flash Player support on 64-bit operating systems.

On the Micosoft Compatibility website, when they say that Flash 9 is compatible with Vista x64, they mean that the 32-Bit version of Flash 9 will work on a x64 operating system, provided that the plugin is installed to 32-Bit Internet Explorer.

Adobe has not yet released a pure x64 version of Flash, if you read the link I gave above.
