It doesnt select that option by default for myself I know Live Mail Desktop and a few other windows programs change the settings automatically but Im not sure...I might have to check on the next Vista install |

Normally it should be unticked here by default, it was one of the prerogatives of the EEC court, so maybe it depends of the country where Vista is sold. |

I also spotted Windows Search 4.0 show up under recommended updates but after doing a few other updates it has dissapeared  |
