Internet Explorer SmartScreen Filter Vs. Malware:

YouTube - Internet Explorer SmartScreen Filter Vs. Malware

Firefox 3 Vs. Malware:

YouTube - FireFox 3 AntiMalware Tests

Draw your own conclusions!

BTW: Don't put your faith in the virus scan made by firefox (its quite useless)! Also when you're dealing with very large downloads the firefox scanner just freeze!

If IE just worked properly, they might have something. That needs to be fixed before a new version comes out.

Re: What do you want to see in IE9?

I have a major problem keeping track of all my passwords. I would love to have them all on a USB stick and having a smart feature to retrieve them when I need them.

Well, you could type them out into a txt file, and copy it to the USB stick, and then encrypt it. Just don't leave it hooked into the computer, or let anyone else get it.

I think he means the passwords that automatically fill out login forms on websites in a specific browser. In other words, he wants to able to export them and import them when he switches computers so that he doesn't ever have to type them again

I don't like IE at all, and fully support the people who want to have M$ give the option of Browsers at install.

But thats just me. As to what I think it SHOULD have, M$ should take a leaf out of Google's book. Each tab (this goes for Mozilla too) should be its own process, eliminating crashing all tabs.
Security should also be SO MUCH BETTER. It is the LEAST secure browser and I don't use it for that reason (along with clutter).
I think it should have MUCH less clutter when you first use it, and allow you to add it all in a very SIMPLE way. People are stupid, so keep it easy.

Any other ideas?

100% agree

Also, in M$, updates are done through IE, so you cannot really uninstall IE.
Can you not/uninstall remove IE?
