| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Bing blocks adult content in 20 percent of regions Your private site is private. I have 5 blogs, and set them for single user, no comments. If Microsoft's browser was create by a small or large group of people who wanted to control what their religious, or political, or other entity group looked at, they could do so. But Microsoft doesn't have a private browser usable only by people who want things blocked, they have a browser used by millions of people. Its a public company, creating things for the public to use. I guess we could discuss this forever, I doubt any of us are going to change our minds. So, I am going to drop it. I see it as public company doing things they shouldn't, you all see it otherwise. |

| Vista Ult 64bit Windows 7 64 bit Server 2008 RC2 | Re: Bing blocks adult content in 20 percent of regions As for what MS can or can't block, they have the right to allow or not allow anything they want. It is the government that does not have the right, yet, to tell them what they can and can't filter. If MS wants to filter out Disney it is their right to do so. Same as Walmart has the right to sell or not sell whatever they want. We all know that google can and has blackballed sites for things like keyword stuffing. Just another form of filtering. Is that also illegal, cause if it is they'll be in bankruptcy court before the years out from all the lawsuits. Just my thoughts. Gary |
