| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: How would you make Microsoft Office better? Stop moving the menus around and stop altering the sub-menus. Doing such alterations doesn't improve anything. Just makes it a pain to use. |

| Vista Ultimate SP1 x64 | Re: How would you make Microsoft Office better? The 07 interface is far better, its so easy to see what the controls do instead of the microscopic stuff they had before. some performance increases, more compatability with other formats wouldnt go amiss tho. |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Re: How would you make Microsoft Office better? 1) When dragging the mouse to highlight text, if the text goes beyond the visible window, the text just flies by at light speed making it impossible to complete the highlighting at the desired spot. Scroll the window at "human" speed. (Yes, I know it's possible to click at the top, scroll the window and shift-click at the bottom to highlight text but this takes a lot more extra time, plus it requires use of the left hand to press the shift key.) 2) Provide a built-in "Paste Special" keyboard shortcut. Paste special allows pasting text from web pages in plain text into documents without including unwanted formatting that the ctrl-V paste can include. Alt-V would be a good shortcut key for this function. (This functionality can be created using a keyboard macro but non-word guru types will never be able to do it.)
