Microsoft Security Essentials build 1.0.1500.0 arrives

The Microsoft Security Essentials beta, available for download for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7, has been updated to build 1.0.1500.0.

Thank you Emil for the heads up. Strange that I never had anything popup in Windows Updates for this with using the retail version of Windows 7.

Ah I see. Funny thing is that it is actually 1.0.1501.0 instead. I edited your post for it.

Thanks but I'll keep it at 1500 since that what most people are getting. I'll look into why you're getting 1501 though tomorrow morning.

Figured it out,

On Connect, the version is referred to as 1.0.1500.0 but the actual installers are for 1.0.1501.0.
