18 cool things Windows 7 does that Vista doesn't

From Windows 3.1 to Windows Vista, the Windows operating system has taken many giant leaps. And while Vista received a lukewarm reception from some users, Windows 7 is likely to be remembered for addressing those criticisms.
In fact, there aren't many changes to the overall look of Windows 7 when compared to Windows Vista. Instead, Microsoft seems to have paid attention to the feedback it received and created an OS that is not only stable, but also very capable.
So what is new in Windows 7? Here are 18 cool things Windows 7 does that Vista doesn't.

The "18 cool things" was interesting to read. But.....none of them gave me any reason to want to upgrade to W7. There are so many people that bash Vista on these various boards. I've only been using it since I got the machine in May but the only problems I've had were those I caused myself! I like the Vista 64 bit OS that I'm using now much better than XP, but again that is just my personal opinion. I also have heard horror stories about upgrading to a new OS without doing a clean install.

Yeah, I agree. I have Vista 64 and have no issues at all with it. I really do not see any reason to buy yet another OS from MS when what I have works just fine for me. To each their own. :)

Another Great post from JMH

I use both vista and win 7. truth be told I even turned off about half of the cool things but the other half make it a really easy OS to use. It just plain works (most of the time)
