Quote: European Union antitrust regulators are conducting informal discussions with Microsoft and Yahoo about their 10-year search engine deal, currently taking a more exploratory path in the talks, rather than looking at competition concerns, according to a Reuters report. It is still unclear if the EU will proceed to a formal probe and whether or not the organization's regulators need to approve the deal.
