Mark Russinovich,
Landy Wang, and Arun Kishan. These are the guys who are behind a large number of the amazing performance improvements in Windows 7, and this is your onetime chance to meet them in person for an intense, deep, and high-quality session. Mark, Landy, and Arun will start by talking about Kernel and architectural improvements, for example, the
Kernel Dispatcher Lock, new and even more efficient
Windows Memory Management, and
Trigger Start Services, among many other topics.
Next, they’ll take a dive deep into the different APIs, paying special attention to the new shell integration points in Windows 7 such as the taskbar, libraries, and search.
