True. But I guess there is some relevance to it regarding those who use HP (The responses more than the article itself). I have a HP and did not know that they are notorious for having PS and MOBO problems, so I find this thread to have some significance.

I disagree I did not know about the power supply or that so many others were having problems with there vista backup disks whats wrong do you work for hp or something?

I will add my bit here,

My flatmate has a HP laptop and yes its a pile plastic and screws really. Its slow and it does things unexpectedly on the internet. You open a page and it will load, then it will jump to another page which is just the bottom of the last page or it will give you a page from a different website.

Oh and has crashes galore. Though, surprisingly, there has been no BSODs.

But thats my ten pence.

Never buy from PC manufacturer, always build your own or have someone you know very well and trust.
That's my twenty pence worth.

Thank you after all how are you supposed to get non bias info if you can't speak the truth about you'r experiances?They always tell me to do my own research so I am.Why are post's about poor quality spam but telling us how good hp is is not spam?

The reference to SPAM was for the original post singing the merits of HP. The rest of the posts were quite helpful and truthful. Well that is my interpretation anyway.
