Nearly 50% of Windows 7 Users in the US Are Experiencing a More Beautiful Web with In

March was a great month for the IE team.  We are thrilled with the response to our new television adThe Hunger Games Capitol Tour brought the silver screen to the web.  And, we even had a little fun looking back at just how far we have come with Internet Explorer.

As March comes to a close and we review the latest usage share data from Net Applications, we continue to see great strides made against our core metric: IE9 share on Windows 7.  This month in the US nearly 50% of Windows 7 users are experiencing the best the web has to offer with IE9.

And around the world, almost 35% of Windows 7 users are browsing with IE9.

All up, IE usage this month grew as well worldwide. We saw IE gains of almost a full point bringing our worldwide share for the month of March to 53.8.%.
