| | left part of screen is blank The icons on the left side of my screen move about 2-3" to the right, and that space is blank...If I restart the computer it's ok...but after awhile, I come back to the computer and the left side is blank again. I have 2 spyware programs and anti-virus and firewall....all of em are clean. |

| | Re: left part of screen is blank Chuck, Not exactly sure what you mean by 'blank' but this symptom occurs on my PC occasionally due to my video card Display Settings acting up, temporarily booting into a larger screen resolution and then fixing itself. Also, if 'Windows Sidebar' starts without any 'Gadgets', the screen shifts a few inches, though on my PC it shifts from the right side. If Windows Sidebar is one of your startups, try to uncheck it in 'Run > msconfig > Startup' and restart PC.
