How to Reset Complete PC Backup?

Had to change my backup disk and lost my Complete PC Backup files. Complete
PC backup assumes I still have the original backup files and won't backup the
whole C drive. Anyone know how to reset Complete PC Backup so that it will
backup the whole drive again? This has been covered in an earlier post (see
'Fresh Start with Complete PC Backup'), but the 'answer' supplied by
Microsoft was incorrect.

Thanks.

Re: How to Reset Complete PC Backup?

the answer can be found at the end of this thread:

http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.p...0580&view=next

note that you will have to use an elevated rights command prompt
(right-click on command prompt icon and choose run as admin)

use

wbadmin delete catalog

to delete the history, but before doing so use

wbadmin get versions

to see what backup dates are stored in the catalog

good luck!
