| | Hard Drive Shows Full But Isn't I have a new computer running on Vista Home Premium. There is a 232 GB hard drive which shows only 75 MB of free space. I have about 10 GB of programs and data on the hard drive. I have checked hidden files, deleted trash, and cleaned up the hard drive. Last month I installed an online game, Everquest, and I leave the game on 24/7. Could that be part of the cause? Does VISTA have a problem with rewriting data to the hard drive? I used to leave the same game on running Windows 2000 and have not had a problem with the computer over the past six years. |
