| | Backing up dual-boot system - how? If you're dual-booting Vista and XP I'd be interested to know if you have an effective image strategy. Does it work to use something like Paragon Drive Copy to make an image and then restore without breaking the dual-boot arrangement? TIA |

| | Re: Backing up dual-boot system - how? I'm not familiar with Paragon, but the concept is right. I use Acronis for image backup of both the XP and Vista drives at once. -- "Victek" <Victek@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:OAeRUoGKIHA.5400@xxxxxx Quote: > If you're dual-booting Vista and XP I'd be interested to know if you have > an effective image strategy. | | RE: Backing up dual-boot system - how? When you image the drive you select 'all' operating systems, i.e., XP and Vista and the imaging software will image both operating systems. Paragon drive copy should be able to do the job for you. My main contender for imaging now is Acronis True Image and i haven't had any problem re-imaging a dual boot system back. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert Windows - Shell/User Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org The information in this mail/post is supplied "as is".
