Does anyone know how to get graphics going instead of a little x in a box?
    Scripting is enabled. Thanx.

The red "x" in the box means the computer does not know how to display
whatever should be in that box. You would need to know what kind of content
is trying to be displayed (Shockwave, Flash Player, Crystal Report viewer,
etc, etc) and install the correct plug-in to make the "x" go away and the
    content to show up.

Or it could be that the website is broke and the graphics aren't there.
It's hard to say since you didn't give us much detail to go on.

Not having any details to go on, the first thing I would do is download
and install the latest Java and flash player.
After installing, go to control panel, programs and features, and
uninstall all earlier versions of Flash. Most of them are not secure anyway.
